Paris Joins the BeeOmetrics Project and Trusts BeeOdiversity with a New Network of BeeOtels
We’re proud to share that BeeOdiversity has partnered with the City of Paris to install a network of BeeOtels across four of the city’s green spaces, as part of our EIC-funded BeeOmetrics initiative.
Approved by the Conseil de Paris on February 9, the project will see BeeOtels installed from late February for a one-year monitoring period. True to our model, the infrastructure comes at no cost to the city, and Parisian agents will be trained directly by our team to collect on-site data themselves.
Over the coming year, our team will track occupancy rates across the BeeOtels and connect these findings with complementary environmental data, building a fuller picture of biodiversity health across the city’s parks.
For the City of Paris, the partnership delivers science-backed, ongoing insight into the ecological quality of its green spaces, at zero cost, while building in-house capacity for environmental monitoring within its own teams. It’s exactly the kind of concrete, data-driven step that supports a more resilient and nature-positive city.
